Abstract: Wang Fu’s “Ethics Explanation” is not only an explanation of Yi, but also a work of ethics. By analyzing the aspects of hexagram virtue, hexagram symbol, hexagram name, etc., we can find the overall characteristics of the “Book of Changes” by reminding the philosophical meanings contained in objects. The king used the scenery presented in the Zhouyi hexagram as an example for human virtue cultivation. It not only explained the way of interpretation, but also developed the correct human virtue cultivation. It mainly explained the principles of Yi, “the combination of heaven and man and nature”, “the construction of the universe and the universe”, and “the divination of one principle” and rich ethical thinking. “Big Episode Interpretation of the Zhou Yi” shows Wang Fu’s theoretical orientation of combining science with emphasis on both learning, knowledge and value, and reflects his willingness to establish a standard behavior of scholars after the fall of the Ming Dynasty, which has the characteristics of the strong Chinese philosophy of “metaphysics of morality”.
